Alternative Estancias

Duck concentrations (migrations) depend on water-levels which in 50-80% of water fowl areas depend on late March and April rain-fall. For those high-volume duck hunters, we suggest waiting until late April until River Plates makes a final assessment of the best shooting destination. These guests must not mind chartering air flights or otherwise, enduring long car drives. The estancia will be one of the 6-10 estancias (see below) selected by River Plate over the last 20 years to minimize driving distances to the blinds. Expect to shoot bated ducks at a shell consumption of 3-4 boxes per hour.
