At one time, Estancia El Rincon, which extended to over three million acres, was one of the largest in the country. River Plate refurbished and upgraded the original home, which was built in 1890, to restore it to the glory of its early days. It offers 8 bedrooms and 4 baths and can comfortably accommodate a group of up to 14 hunters.
Action-filled days, impeccable organization and highly competent guides place El Rincon and its sister estancia, Santa Rosa, a notch above all other regional lodges.
Sample Itinerary - El Rincon:
Day 1: Depart U.S or Europe
Day 2: Arrive to Buenos Aires, Argentina's capital city, where you will be met by River Plate's ground transfer team and driven to the estancia. After lunch and siesta, a 25 minute drive to the high volume dove area. Back to the estancia for cocktails and dinner.
Days 3-5: Three full shooting days. Wak up call around 5:00 a.m., breakfast and transfer to the high volume duck shooting area. The duck shoot is so good, you will reach your limit early in the morning and have enough time to add a third shoot in the day: optional perdiz over pointing dogs for an additional cost per day. Back to the estancia for cocktails and lunch. High volume dove shooting in the afternoon after a siesta, or an optional perdiz shoot.
Day 6: Morning duck hunt. Transfer to Buenos Aires International airport after lunch.
Day 7: Arrive U.S. or Europe.
* You may also opt for a perdiz-dove combo at a lower night rate, which you may apply for only one day or the whole stay. Contact us for more info.
